Coult Family Update -- February 2012

2 Timothy 2:2 -- and what you have heard from me
in the presence of many witnesses
entrust to faithful men
who will be able to teach others also.

The above verse from the Bible states the purpose of Master's Bible School. On February 8, 2012, module #1 of the school in Las Glorias was completed, and 45 students headed home to their families and to their congregations to share what they have learned.

The students left satisfied that they had learned a lot, but hungry to understand it deeper and also to learn more. Everyone we talked to is excited about Module #2, which is scheduled for the end of October. You can read more about MBS by clicking here
.

The end of Module #1 marks the end of six extremely intense months of constructing, planning, organizing and preparing. We all agree that the past months have been the busiest of our entire six years in Mexico. So, what comes next?

We're getting ready for a trip to the States next month, a mini family reunion, semana santa, another parenting course scheduled to start in April (after semana santa), Vacation Bible School, continuing our weekly fellowships with our home group and Module #2 of Master's Bible School. Fortunately, we don't have anything needing to be built this year! (Except another bathroom.)

God is doing some amazing and wonderful things in Mexico! We feel incredibly honored to be included in what He is doing and are looking forward expectantly to the next event!

If you're interested in getting involved in any of the outreaches or events that we have planned this year, or even if you would just like to see what we're doing first-hand, send us an email. We would love to talk with you about mission trip opportunities in Sinaloa.

Prayers and Praises:
  • Please pray specifically for our friend Oneida. She and her husband, Diego, are expecting their 3rd child in May and she has been having complications with her pregnancy. As of this afternoon, Friday, she is in the hospital with pre-term labor, and we have no further details. Diego asked us to pray and also that we'd pass the request on to our friends.
  • Pray for God's provision and protection as we prepare for a trip to Kansas in March.
  • Pray for God's guidance in the lives of our kids. Caleb will be graduating from high school this summer and is seeking God's will for his future. Seth and Jessee are right behind him with only a couple more years of high school left. Sarah is also praying and waiting for confirmation. The waiting is the hardest part.
  • Praise God for His provision in the construction of the New Hope Fellowship Center. Master's Bible School was the first of what we hope and pray will be many events held in this building.
  • Praise God for the people who have recently begun to join us for our weekly Bible study. Pray that God would give us insight and direction as we strive to keep the "family" feeling of our meetings.
  • Pray against the sickness which is attacking our family. As I type this, Caleb is struggling with his asthma.
  • Pray that God would provide windows for the fellowship center before the rainy season sets in.
