Psalm 100 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth!
Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!
Know that the LORD, he is God!
It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!
For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

We have arrived in Oregon and are having a wonderful visit with family and friends here. On Wednesday, we'll be leaving Oregon to begin our trip south and, Lord willing, will be crossing the border to return to Mexico on October 4.
Sunday, September 25, we'll be visiting Restoration Life Church in Sacramento and the following Sunday, October 2, Doug will be sharing at Saguaro Canyon EFC in Tucson.

God has been so gracious and faithful to us this trip -- as always. It's been great visiting churches, reconnecting with old friends and making some new ones. As our time in the States reaches its end, though, we begin to look forward to our return home. We are anxious to begin work on the New Hope Fellowship Center which is now, thanks to generous donations from friends in the States, fully funded. We are praying for mission teams which are being raised up to come help with the building and also for a team of youth which is hoping to host our second "Desde el Interior" conference -- in the new building.
Also in the plans are inductive Bible study training, more work on the parenting class curriculum, children's worker training, music classes for worship leaders and discipleship of our home fellowship group -- in addition to school and "life". We expect the next 6 months to be as full as the past 6 months...and also just as blessed!

There are still many miles to travel on this furlough. Pray for us as we begin the journey back to Mexico! It's hard to drive off and leave our daughter, Sarah, in Oregon again, but we do take some comfort in knowing that we will be seeing her soon. She is planning to bring a mission team from Oregon to Mexico in December.

Prayers and Praises:
- Praise God for providing the funds necessary to build the fellowship center in Las Glorias. Pray that He would send the workers!
- Please pray for us as we travel -- safety on the highways, rest and health, God's provision for all our needs.
- Pray for wisdom as we plan events and classes when we return.
- Pray for direction and insight for Sarah as she makes decisions about school
- Pray for the mission teams which are being organized now for 2011 and 2012. Contact us if you'd like to get involved in one of them!
